LUNAR PLANTING
Plant health
and yields in the organic garden are greatly improved by planting according to moon phases.
The effect on root crops is more noticeable than aboveground crops. When
planted during the wrong moon phase, root crops
will often produce beautiful, full foliage, but no root vegetables at
all. Many calendars and the Farmer Almanac show moon phases.
